Kirk Johnson
Lead Pastor
Kirk attended Olivet Nazarene University where he earned a BA in Religion and is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He has been serving in fulltime ministry since 2004 and accepted the call to serve as the Lead Pastor of the Wabash Church of the Nazarene in October of 2012. He is passionate about connecting people to God and helping them to reach their fullest potential as followers of Jesus. Kirk and his wife Katie were married in 2000 and have two beautiful daughters, Kaelyn and Khloe.
The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the denomination is now home to about 2.3 million members worshiping in more than 29,000 local congregations in 159 world areas.
Our local church in Wabash began as a church plant in 1936. In 1997 we moved to our current location on Manchester Ave, giving us the ability to grow and do more for Jesus. Our church has a contemporary and casual feel. We are a vibrant and thriving community of faith, working together to serve and make a positive difference in our community and around the world.
